Web Desk; Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and daughter of Shweta Bachchan, has decided to stay away from the film industry, choosing instead to focus on her family’s multi-billion-rupee business empire.
In a recent interview, Navya confirmed that she has no plans to enter Bollywood despite belonging to one of the most influential film families in India. She said her passion lies in entrepreneurship and business innovation, and she wishes to make her mark outside of the entertainment world.
Navya is currently involved with her family’s enterprise, Escorts Group, a major player in the agricultural and construction equipment sector, reportedly valued at over Rs 40,000 crore. Sharing her experience, she said she recently assembled a tractor herself as part of her learning process within the company.
She also runs an initiative called “Project Naveli,” aimed at empowering women through education and employment opportunities. According to Navya, the goal is to bring more women into the workforce and challenge traditional gender roles in business and society.
While many star kids often follow the path of acting, Navya’s decision to step into the world of business instead of Bollywood has drawn admiration across social media, with many praising her for setting an example of independence and purpose.
