MURREE; The leadership trio of PML-N gathered in Murree for an extensive discussion on the political situation in Pakistan, party strategies, and upcoming electoral contests.

According to PML-N sources, party president Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met at Nawaz Sharif’s residence in Jhika Gali, Murree, to consult on key topics.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the overall political landscape of the country and internal party issues, also putting forward their proposals.
Sources revealed that the leaders reviewed the recent measures taken to combat corruption nationwide. In this context, they discussed concerns related to Khawaja Asif and MPA Naeem Ejaz, who are alleged to be supporting certain individuals.
They also strategized on how to respond to the opposition parties’ protest plans.
Additionally, they deliberated on upcoming legislation and the importance of maintaining institutional harmony.
Importantly, the leaders discussed the issuance of party tickets to PML-N candidates for the forthcoming by-elections across the country. These by-elections have been necessitated due to the vacancies in National and Provincial Assembly seats following the convictions of PTI parliamentarians.
