LAHORE: PTI Secretary General Suleman Akram Raja has clarified that assembly members can only be de-seated under Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution, not suspended for staging protests.
Speaking at a press conference alongside Punjab Assembly opposition leader Malik Ahmad Bhichar and Latif Khosa on Saturday, he vowed that PTI would vigorously defend the case of the 26 Punjab Assembly members on all legal forums.
Meanwhile, opposition leader Ahmad Khan dismissed speculation about a change of government in KP, calling it merely a wishful notion of the PML-N.
