Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired a meeting to review matters related to the power sector.
The meeting focused on key aspects of the power sector, with an emphasis on financial sustainability and consumer protection.
The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to taking balanced decisions that maintain financial discipline without placing undue burden on the public.
The meeting was attended by the federal ministers for power and petroleum, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, the secretary for power, and senior officials from the ministries of finance and power.
