During a casual Twitch livestream with friends, the 31-year-old singer shared his views while eating at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant.
“If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it — committing adultery or whatever,” Bieber said. “Even if the thought crosses your mind for just one second, it’s the same.”
Bieber, who has been married to model Hailey Bieber for seven years, went on to add, “If you treat a man with anger or hatred, it’s like killing him.”
His comments quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from fans and social media users.
One user wrote, “Biologically speaking, all men in relationships will still feel attraction toward other women — what matters is how they handle those thoughts.”
