The first installment will be received from registered applicants on a first-come, first-served basis from August 4 to August 9. If seats remain available, new applicants will be allowed to apply between August 11 and August 16.

The spokesperson added that as soon as all available seats are filled, the collection of Hajj dues will be stopped.

The Hajj package for the year 2026 is expected to range between Rs 1,150,000 and Rs 1,250,000, which includes the cost of animal sacrifice (Dam-e-Shukr). The second installment will be collected starting from November 1.

The ministry has also lifted restrictions on repeat Hajj pilgrims and removed the upper age limit. However, children born after March 1, 2014, will not be eligible to apply for Hajj.
