ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian concluded his two-day official visit to Pakistan and departed for Iran on Sunday.
At Nur Khan Airbase, he was given a warm farewell by Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, who also presented him with a photo album capturing key moments from his visit. Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada was also in attendance.
President Pezeshkian expressed appreciation to the Pakistani government for the warm reception and gracious hospitality extended to him throughout his stay.
During the visit, President Pezeshkian held meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and other high-ranking officials. The talks centered on advancing bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on regional and global matters.
Several agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed to promote collaboration across multiple sectors.
The visit also featured the Pakistan-Iran Business Forum, where officials and business leaders from both countries explored avenues to enhance trade and economic ties.
