The discussions focused on expanding bilateral ties in key areas including economic partnership, education, science, and sustainable development. Nawaz Sharif praised the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stating that the relationship between Pakistan and the UAE goes beyond diplomacy—it is a deep bond rooted in mutual respect, which has withstood the test of time.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed a strong desire to enhance collaboration with the UAE in the fields of education, research, and environmental sustainability. She lauded the UAE’s scientific advancements, eco-friendly initiatives, and forward-looking vision.

She also appreciated the visa-free entry for holders of official and diplomatic passports between the two countries, calling it a commendable step, and welcomed the growth in bilateral trade.

Highlighting progress in Punjab, Maryam Nawaz said that sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and renewable energy are being modernized with innovative approaches. She invited UAE investors, institutions, and business leaders to explore investment opportunities in Punjab, noting that the province has emerged as a top destination due to its business-friendly environment.
