ISLAMABAD; The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in upper and southeastern Sindh, southern Punjab, northeastern and southern Balochistan, and Kashmir over the next twelve hours.
According to the PMD, a few places in upper Sindh and eastern Balochistan might experience heavy rainfall. Additionally, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in isolated areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and northeastern Punjab during the evening or night. The weather in other parts of the country is expected to remain hot and humid.
Over the past 24 hours, most parts of the country experienced hot and humid weather. However, Sindh and Lasbela received rain with strong winds and thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall recorded at a few places in Sindh. Yesterday, the maximum temperatures recorded were 46 degrees Celsius in Nokundi and Dalbandin, and 43 degrees Celsius in Dadu.
