The drama is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and is considered one of the grand productions of Geo Entertainment. The cast includes Ahsan Khan, Hira Mani, Mehwish Hayat, Osama Tahir, Shamil Khan, Sohail Sameer, Zainab Qayyum, Afsheen Hayat, Nayyar Ejaz, and Nida Mumtaz. Each episode of the drama garners over 7 million views.

So far, thirty-nine episodes of Dayan have aired on Geo TV. However, Dayan’s story is progressing very slowly, as the channel features only about 10% new scenes in each episode, with the remaining 90% consisting of flashbacks and slow-motion shots accompanied by the OST.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see Misha’s revenge unfold, but many have expressed frustration over the sluggish pace of the show, leading to a decline in interest. Have a look at the flashbacks from the recent episodes:

Drama viewers are upset with the dragged storyline of Dayan. Fans are expressing their frustration over the excessive use of flashbacks, modeling shots, and repeated OST sequences. One fan wrote, “They’ve added so many flashback scenes just to increase the episode duration, but bro, viewers on YouTube will just skip through them—this won’t get you any revenue.”

Another commented, “They’ve unnecessarily stretched the drama. It’s a useless drama just like Indian serials.” A viewer remarked, “This is the first Pakistani drama that allows me to clean the kitchen, prepare food, go to the gym, and take a nap—yet I don’t miss a single scene.” Another pointed out, “They’ve stretched the content of twenty episodes into more than fifty.”
