DUBAI (MNN); Huawei Cloud Stack has been ranked number one in the Middle East and Pakistan hybrid cloud market, according to the Hybrid Cloud Middle East and Pakistan Survey Results 2025 published by global research and advisory firm Omdia.
The report placed Huawei Cloud Stack at the top overall and awarded it the highest scores in the key categories of Customer Service and Market presence, outperforming several leading global cloud service providers. Huawei Cloud Stack also secured first position in four critical sub-categories: brand recognition and customer support, suitability for on-premises artificial intelligence inference workloads, compliance with local regulatory requirements, and reliability and availability features.
Omdia’s assessment highlights that Huawei Cloud Stack has emerged as one of the most trusted hybrid cloud platforms in the region, particularly at a time when Middle Eastern countries are accelerating digital transformation initiatives. Nations such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar are increasingly adopting hybrid cloud models to balance public cloud scalability with strict requirements for data governance and sovereignty.
According to the report, Huawei’s strong market position is supported by its extensive operational network, including five global operations and maintenance centres providing round-the-clock support to more than 5,500 customers across over 150 countries. This network covers more than 80 percent of the Middle East and Central Asia, contributing to Huawei’s top ranking in brand trust and customer support response times.
Huawei Cloud Stack’s compliance capabilities were also recognised as a major strength. Platforms built on Huawei Cloud Stack have been approved by regulators in countries including Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Pakistan, and meet international standards such as ISO and PCI DSS. Its dual-availability zone architecture enables rapid recovery, ensuring high service continuity for critical sectors such as finance and government.
In the area of artificial intelligence, Huawei Cloud Stack was rated the leading platform for on-premises AI inference. The latest version integrates AI training, data management and computing infrastructure, enabling secure and real-time AI applications while keeping sensitive data on local premises.
Beyond technology, Huawei is also contributing to regional digital growth through ecosystem development and skills training. Through initiatives such as the UNESCO-supported Huawei ICT Competition, the company has already trained more than 500,000 ICT professionals in the region. Huawei has also supported national projects, including the UAE’s education cloud and Pakistan’s telecom data platforms, helping institutions modernise operations and improve service delivery.
Omdia’s report concludes that as hybrid cloud becomes a cornerstone of AI-driven economies, Huawei Cloud Stack is well positioned to support secure, sovereign and sustainable digital infrastructure across the Middle East and Pakistan.
