PESHAWAR: As many as four persons including Assistant Commissioner Nawagai, Tehsildar Waqil Khan, a police subedar, and a constable were martyred in the explosion occurred near a Phatak Mela district Bajaur.
According to report 11 persons were injured who were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Report said RESCUE 1122 medical teams rushed to the scene and provided timely medical aid to injured people besides shifting them to district hospital Khar.
Information advisor KP Barrister Saif strongly condemned Bajaur explosion saying the sacrifices of martyrs will not go waste.
KP Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur has issued orders for investigation into the incident. He has also directed to provide treatment to injured persons. The perpetrators will be brought to justice, he added.
