MUZAFFARABAD: Sessions Judge Raja Imtiaz has been arrested under the order of Supreme Court (SC) Azad Kashmir under charges of contempt of court.

Larger bench of AJK SC had ordered to arrest Raja Imtiaz. Full bench of SC AJK presided over by Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram announced the decision.
SC awarded punishment of 3 days to Judge Raja Imtiaz and ordered to arrest him.
Judge Raja Imtiaz was arrested from court’s room.
Judge Raja Imtiaz of Anti Narcotics Court Haveli approved bail plea of the accused , a narcotics dealer in violation of the state’s Supreme Court (SC) and high court orders. Upon it contempt of court proceedings was initiated.
