According to the list, Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan will preside over cases in Courtroom 1, while Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will hear matters in Courtroom 2. A two-member bench comprising Justices Amir Farooq and K.K. Agha will conduct hearings in Courtroom 3.

This marks the first cause list since the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court, signaling the commencement of regular proceedings on significant constitutional matters.

Earlier, on November 14, Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan made his first major administrative decision by appointing former District & Sessions Judge Muhammad Hafeez as Registrar of the Federal Constitutional Court and Mazhar Bhatti as Secretary to the Chief Justice.

Important cases scheduled for November 17 include hearings at the Federal Constitutional Court and Islamabad High Court, such as a student petition regarding MDCAT exams and registration policy, and an appeal by the sister of Zulfi Bukhari challenging NAB’s decision on the auction of his property.
