TEHRAN, (Monitoring Desk) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi lamented that the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency have declined to condemn the Zionist regime’s war of aggression against Iran.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, Araqchi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty discussed the latest regional developments following the cessation of the Zionist regime’s military aggression against Iran.

Araqchi pointed to the widespread condemnation of the Israeli aggression against Iran by the international community, particularly Islamic countries and key regional organizations.
He also criticized two major responsible international bodies, namely the UN Security Council and the IAEA, for their refusal to condemn the Israeli attacks.
The foreign minister emphasized Iran’s firm pursuit of efforts to identify the aggressors and obtain reparations, the ministry’s website reported.
For his part, Abdelatty welcomed the end of the Zionist regime’s aggression and stressed Egypt’s continued efforts to help de-escalate tensions in the region, including efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of over 930 people, including top military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III that inflicted heavy losses on cities across the occupied territories.
A ceasefire that came into force on June 24 brought the fighting to a halt.
