ISLAMABAD; A solemn and dignified ceremony marking the death anniversary of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Mohsin-e-Pakistan, was held here at the E-7 School Lawn in Islamabad.
The event was organized with the active support and participation of E-7 residents, their families, and distinguished guests.

The evening began with Quran Khwani and the recitation of Naat, followed by tributes to Dr. Khan’s unmatched contributions to Pakistan’s security and scientific advancement.
The headmistress of the school, Ms. Samina, welcomed the guests, while Tariq Pirzada expressed gratitude to all participants at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Prominent speakers who paid homage to Dr. Khan included Ziad AlHaddad, Dr. Samina Khalid, Dr. Khaliquz Zaman, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Javed Chaudhary, Hamid Mir, Ahmed Raza Kasuri, Dr. N. M. Butt, Sajjad Cheema, President Bar Gilani, and Dr. Arshad Mirza. Dr. Dina Khan, daughter of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, also addressed the gathering and expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the continued love and respect shown for her father’s legacy.

A documentary highlighting Dr. Khan’s life and achievements was shown, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony led by Dr. Dina Khan in honor of her illustrious father. Dinner was served to the attendees.
Earlier in the day, E-7 residents represented by Dr. N.M. Butt visited Dr. Khan’s grave in H-8 to offer collective prayers. CDA Union members, led by General Secretary Ch. Yaseen, also paid their respects by laying floral wreaths and sprinkling rose petals on the grave.
The commemoration reflected the nation’s enduring admiration for Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan’s services to Pakistan and the Muslim world.
