KHUZDAR: Security forces in Khuzdar’s Zhery area have launched a special operation against militants of Fitna-al-Hindustan based on intelligence reports, officials confirmed.

Due to the increasing terrorist activity, security forces initiated the operation as a precautionary measure. The operation involves a large number of ground troops and helicopters to ensure effective containment.

Security sources reported that seven militants of Fitna-al-Hindustan have been killed so far. Additionally, 10 militants have been injured during the ongoing operation.

Weapons and explosives recovered from the deceased militants include IEDs, transmitters, US-made automatic weapons, grenades, ammunition, and motorcycles. Security forces also successfully defused a large IED installed by the militants on the Badukisht main bridge.

Security officials stated that the operation will continue until Fitna-al-Hindustan, involved in destructive activities under India’s influence in Zhery and across Balochistan, is fully neutralized.
