According to details, the encounter took place when police were taking rape accused Mubeen Ahmed, charged with kidnapping and assaulting a ten-year-old girl, for recovery. During the operation, his accomplices attempted to rescue him, leading to a confrontation. Displaying exceptional bravery, Saeeda Khaliq successfully led her team in the encounter, ensuring that the accused was brought under control.

The Punjab police leadership hailed her action as a milestone for women in law enforcement, noting that her promotion reflects both recognition of her individual bravery and the evolving role of women in policing. Officials emphasized that Inspector Khaliq’s example will inspire more women officers to take on challenging assignments with confidence.

With her new responsibilities, Inspector Saeeda Khaliq continues to focus on gender-related crimes in Kot Addu, while also being celebrated as a trailblazer who shattered barriers in a male-dominated profession.
