Washington DC: A delegation led by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb held a productive meeting with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer in Washington, D.C. today.
The discussions focused on enhancing trade and economic cooperation, which both sides acknowledged as a key element of Pakistan-U.S. bilateral relations.
They reaffirmed their commitment to identifying and pursuing opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual benefit.
Finance Minister Aurangzeb highlighted the United States as Pakistan’s largest trading partner and expressed interest in expanding cooperation across both traditional and emerging sectors such as IT and technology, minerals, and agriculture.
Both sides conveyed optimism about the ongoing trade talks, hoping for positive outcomes that would benefit the economies of both nations.
