SHEIKHPURA; Sikh pilgrims from India and various other countries are visiting Gurdwara Sacha Sauda in Sheikhupura today as part of the celebrations marking the 556th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism

The pilgrims are being transported from Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib to Gurdwara Sacha Sauda in Farooqabad through special buses arranged for the occasion. They will spend the day performing religious rituals and offering prayers.

On the special directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Sheikhupura Deputy Commissioner Shahid Imran Marth and the district administration have made elaborate arrangements for the visitors.
Gurdwara Sacha Sauda has been beautifully decorated, while facilities such as food, medical camps, and security measures have been specially arranged to ensure the pilgrims’ comfort and safety.
