Petrol, Diesel Prices Increased by Up to Rs3 Per Litre; New Rates Effective from November 1

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday night announced another hike in petroleum product prices, raising petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) rates by up to Rs3 per litre.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, petrol prices have been increased by Rs2.43 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs265.45 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has risen by Rs3.02 per litre, now standing at Rs278.44 per litre.

The revised rates will be effective from November 1 to November 15. Officials stated that the adjustment has been made in accordance with global oil market fluctuations and changes in the exchange rate.
