TikTok Releases Q2 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report

Web Desk: TikTok has released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the second quarter of 2025, highlighting the platform’s continued commitment to ensuring a safe and positive digital environment for users.

Covering the period from April to June 2025, the report provides a detailed overview of TikTok’s proactive measures to identify and remove content that violates its Community Guidelines, thereby maintaining a secure and trustworthy platform for its global community.

During this quarter, TikTok removed a total of 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan for violating its Community Guidelines. The proactive removal rate in Pakistan stood at 99.7%, with 96.2% of the removed videos taken down within 24 hours of being uploaded.

Globally, TikTok deleted approximately 189 million videos during the same period, representing around 0.7% of all content uploaded to the platform.

Of these, 163,962,241 videos were detected and removed using automated technologies, while 7,457,309 videos were later reinstated after review. TikTok’s global proactive removal rate remained strong at 99.1%, with 94.4% of flagged content removed within 24 hours.

To preserve the integrity of the platform, TikTok also removed 76,991,660 fake accounts during the quarter, along with 25,904,708 accounts suspected to belong to users under the age of 13.

The report reveals that 30.6% of globally removed videos contained adult or sensitive content that violated TikTok’s policies.

Additionally, 14% of removed videos breached safety and civility standards, 6.1% violated privacy and security guidelines, 45% were flagged as misinformation, and 23.8% contained edited media or AI-generated content.
