ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has further extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for Tax Year 2025 till October 31, 2025, according to a circular issued on Wednesday.
The extension has been made under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. Earlier, the deadline was set for September 30, 2025, which was extended to October 15, 2025 through a previous circular.
The FBR stated that the decision to grant another extension was taken in response to requests from various trade bodies and tax bar associations, allowing taxpayers more time to submit their returns.
