ISLAMABAD: The Executive Body of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA), under the chairmanship of President Wajid Ali Shah Gilani, held a meeting in which several key decisions were taken.
According to a statement issued by Secretary Manzoor Jajja, the association strongly condemned the unpleasant incident that occurred on September 19, 2025, within the premises of the High Court Bar.
The statement made it clear that no group, political party, or faction will be allowed to hold protests within the Bar’s premises in the future. It was also decided that no banners will be displayed inside the High Court Bar premises from now on.
Furthermore, the Bar Association has constituted a five-member committee to investigate the incident. This committee will conduct a transparent inquiry and submit its findings, identifying the lawyers involved, to the Islamabad High Court Bar Association for further action.
