ISLAMABAD; President Asif Ali Zardari today received the diplomatic credentials of newly appointed envoys from the Hellenic Republic, the European Union, and Hungary during a formal ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Those who presented their credentials included Mrs. Eleni Porichi, Ambassador-Designate of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Raimundas Karobalis, Ambassador-Designate of the European Union, and Dr. Zoltan Varga, Ambassador-Designate of Hungary.
President Zardari congratulated the ambassadors on their appointments and extended a warm welcome to Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of their roles in further strengthening ties and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and their respective countries and institutions.
