A major robbery took place at the residence of Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and Pakistan Hindu Council chief, Ramesh Kumar, in Islamabad’s Chatha Bakhtawar area within the jurisdiction of Shehzad Town Police Station.
According to the FIR, in the early hours of August 26, armed robbers scaled the rear wall of the house and entered the premises. The intruders subjected domestic staff to severe torture before looting five luxury watches, branded sunglasses, expensive shoes, clothing, firearms, and other valuables worth over Rs150 million.
Police confirmed that the robbers also fled with cash and additional valuables. Following the incident, Shehzad Town Police registered a case and launched an investigation.
