ISLAMABAD (Web-Desk); A fresh westerly wave is expected to enter the upper parts of Pakistan tonight, bringing much-needed rainfall and thunderstorms to various regions by tomorrow (Tuesday, July 29). The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain-wind/thundershowers, with isolated heavy downpours, particularly in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, and the Pothohar plateau. Meanwhile, the rest of the country is likely to remain under hot and humid conditions.

City-Wise Weather Outlook:

Islamabad:
The federal capital is likely to see scattered thunderstorms, especially during nighttime hours. The temperature is expected to range between 24°C and 32°C, with humidity around 77%. Rain chances increase from 35% during the day to 75% at night. Winds will blow from the southeast at around 9 mph.

Karachi:
The coastal city will stay hot and humid, with highs of 33–35°C. Light drizzle may occur in some coastal neighborhoods, but no major rain is expected.
