Pakistan Exposes Indian Terror Ties, Calls Out Kashmir Bloodshed

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) has asserted that India is directly involved in terrorism inside Pakistan, adding that Islamabad possesses concrete evidence to prove these claims.

During his weekly press briefing on Friday, FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan also condemned the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-Occupied Kashmir, stressing that Indian forces continue to carry out atrocities there with impunity. “Our stance on the humiliation and brutal treatment of Kashmiri youth remains firm,” he said, urging resolution of the Kashmir dispute in line with UN Security Council resolutions.

Speaking on ties with Afghanistan, the spokesperson said Pakistan remains in contact with Kabul and hopes the Afghan government will work with Islamabad to address mutual challenges.

Khan noted that Pakistan is not currently a member of BRICS but is keen to join the forum. Commenting on bilateral engagements, he highlighted the recent visits of Türkiye’s foreign and national defence ministers to Pakistan, including meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

Reiterating the critical importance of the Indus Waters Treaty, Khan described it as a matter of life and death for Pakistan’s 250 million people.

On regional diplomacy, he made it clear that Deputy PM Ishaq Dar has no plans to meet Indian officials on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

Responding to recent remarks by Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Khan said the statements were a deliberate distortion aimed at misleading the public, violating principles of responsible state conduct.

He termed India’s boasts of military aggression a serious breach of the UN Charter and international law. “Instead of pushing a fictitious narrative, India should accept the reality of its six downed fighter jets and the significant damage to its military assets,” Khan concluded.
