The young Green Shirts kept their nerves intact as Malaysia missed two crucial shots, while Pakistan missed only once, sealing their place in the title clash. This victory highlights Pakistan’s dominant run in the tournament.

They opened with a commanding 8-0 win over Hong Kong, followed by a crushing 9-0 rout of Sri Lanka. In their third outing, Pakistan overcame Bangladesh 6-3, virtually confirming a semifinal spot.

Continuing their impressive form, they then defeated hosts China 2-1 in the quarters to advance to the last four. Now, Pakistan will face Japan in the much-anticipated final on Sunday at the same venue, aiming to lift the coveted trophy.

The squad features players like Mohammad Usman, Atif Ali, Asam Junaid, Abdullah Awan, Ali Hamza and many more, under the guidance of manager Shafqat Malik and coaches Mukhtar Ahmed, Touseeq Ahmed, and Masood-ur-Rahman.

This final presents an opportunity for Pakistan’s rising hockey stars to make a mark on the continental stage and bring home glory.
