Islamabad (Monitoring Desk) Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Imran Khan, has responded strongly to remarks by Pakistani government ministers concerning the potential visit of her sons, Qasim and Suleman Khan, to Pakistan.

Taking to social media platform X, Jemima expressed deep concern, stating that her children are not even permitted to speak with their father over the phone. She added that Pakistani authorities have now warned that if her sons travel to Pakistan to meet Imran Khan, they too could face arrest and imprisonment.

“This does not happen in any democracy or functioning state,” Jemima wrote, calling the situation not politics but a “personal vendetta.”

Her statement comes after PTI leader Naeem Panjutha revealed that Imran Khan’s sons planned to visit Pakistan to show solidarity with their father. Speaking to a private TV channel, Panjutha said the sisters of the PTI founder would also take part in the movement, though leadership would remain with party office bearers.

Meanwhile, according to media reports, Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik stated that if Imran Khan’s sons were coming to Pakistan with the intent to create political unrest, they would not be allowed entry.

The situation has highlighted growing tensions, with Jemima criticizing what she sees as the misuse of state power for personal grudges, while government officials emphasize preventing any attempts to destabilize the political environment.
