ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad has ordered to block 27 renowned YouTube channels.
The court ordered to block You Tube channels on a request by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah took up for hearing the plea seeking court’s order for blocking You Tube channels Tuesday.
The court has issued 2-page written order wherein it is said that court has ordered to block 27 You Tube channels including Matiullah Jan , Asad Toor Uncensored, Habib Akram, Orya Maqbool Jan, Moeed Pirzada and 21 other YouTube channels.
According to the court order, the FIA initiated an inquiry on June 2 with reference to anti state material .
Court is satisfied over the evidence presented by FIA. Action can be initiated as per law.
You Tube officer Incharge is ordered to block these 27 You Tube channels.
These U-TUBE channels include big names Mati Ullah Jan, Siddique Jan, Imran Khan, Moeed Pirzada, Sabir Shakir, Habib Akram , Haider Mehdi, Sabih Kazmi, Aftab Iqbal. Daily Qudrat, Nia Pakistan and others.
