The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the people and government of Iran. He underscored Pakistan’s strong commitment to continuing close cooperation with Iran to foster peace in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.

President Pezeshkian, in turn, expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s strong diplomatic support to Iran, including at international forums, during the recent crisis. He thanked Prime Minister Sharif for Pakistan’s vital role in de-escalating the conflict.

The meeting concluded with Prime Minister Sharif requesting President Pezeshkian to convey his warm greetings and good wishes to His Eminence the Supreme Leader of Iran.
