Govt declares 9th, 10th Moharram as public holidays

Islamabad: The government has declared Ninth and Tenth of Moharram falling on fifth and sixth of this month (June 2025) as public holidays on the occasion of Ashura.

To this respect, a notification of the cabinet division was issued on Thursday.
