Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov signed the deal on behalf of their respective countries.

A Pakistani delegation accompanied the Prime Minister on this occasion.

The signing followed a cordial meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi earlier today.

The final, detailed agreement will be signed during the Azerbaijani President’s forthcoming visit to Pakistan.

Officials described this development as a historic step forward, elevating investment and trade relations between the two nations to an unprecedented level.

The agreement is expected to further strengthen the brotherly ties and solidify commercial partnerships.

Prior to the Prime Minister’s visit, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the Pakistani diplomatic mission, and various delegations finalized key aspects of the agreement.

Both countries also agreed to enhance cooperation in multiple sectors through further exchanges and collaboration.
