The new Daanish Schools will be set up in districts including Qila Saifullah, Zhob, Musakhel, and Dera Bugti, among others. The meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal.

Highlighting the initiative, Ahsan Iqbal said that providing quality education is part of the Prime Minister’s vision and that these schools will bring about an educational transformation in backward areas. He added that the institutions will also offer residential facilities for teachers along with modern amenities.

He praised the Government of Balochistan for bearing 50 percent of the project costs and noted that Daanish Schools will promote digital learning, entrepreneurial skills, and national cohesion.

Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that with 25 million children currently out of school, increasing literacy has become a national imperative. He reiterated that the federal government will provide 50 percent of the funds required for these schools and stated that the Daanish School model is a positive example for other provinces to follow.
