This pilot phase has commenced with the participation of Pakistan Customs and the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, marking their involvement as the first institutions to test the new system.

Following the inauguration, a three-day training program was conducted to prepare Master Trainers on effectively operating the E-Disposal Module. A total of 26 officials from both departments attended the capacity-building sessions.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Qureshi commended the dedication of the PMU team and encouraged the trainees to actively engage with the platform and share their feedback. He underscored that their input would play a critical role in enhancing the system prior to its broader deployment across all public procurement entities.

He also noted that the digitization of public procurement aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of a Digital Pakistan and reflects PPRA’s commitment to modernizing procurement practices nationwide through EPADS.

The event was also attended by Project Director PMU Sheikh Afzaal Raza, Senior Specialist for Training and Capacity Building Atique Sultan Raja, and their respective teams.
