PM welcomes Arbitration Court’s ruling on Indus Waters dispute

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the supplementary award given by the Arbitration Court under the Permanent Court of Arbitration regarding the Indus Waters dispute.

In a statement, the Prime Minister stated that the court’s verdict has strengthened Pakistan’s narrative that India cannot unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty.

He said the government is working on water resources and that water is our lifeline.

The Prime Minister praised the efforts of Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Awan.
