Ministers, MNAs call on PM to laud pro-people budget

ISLAMABAD: Different federal cabinet members and Members of the National Assembly from various constituencies on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Parliament House. 

Among those who met the prime minister were Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Awn Saqlain Chauhdary, and MNAs Syed Khursheed Shah, Munaza Hassan, Syeda Nausheen Iftikhar, Chaudhary Bashir Virk, Nasir Iqbal Bosal and Ali Jan Mazari.In their meeting, the cabinet members discussed with the prime minister the overall political situation and the matters pertaining to the ministries of communications and overseas Pakistanis.

They also appreciated the prime minister for presenting the pro-people budget for fiscal 2025-26. The MNAs also discussed the matters related to their respective constituencies, besides lauding the people-friendly budget. 

Minister for Public Affairs Rana Mubashir Iqbal, State Minister Abdur Rehman Kanju and Special Assistant Talha Barki also attended the meetings with the parliamentarians (APP)
