LAHORE; The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced the national squads for the upcoming white-ball tour of the West Indies, comprising three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
The T20I leg of the tour is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 3 at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA. Salman Ali Agha has been named captain for the T20Is. Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali make their return to the shortest format.
Following the completion of the T20I series in Bangladesh, the Men in Green will travel to the USA on Sunday, July 27, ahead of the West Indies series.
Meanwhile, the three-match ODI series will be hosted at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago from August 8 to 12. Mohammad Rizwan will continue to lead the 16-member squad, with Salman Ali Agha appointed as vice-captain.
The squad includes several senior players such as Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Shaheen Afridi, while Hasan Nawaz, a promising right-handed batter, is the only uncapped player named in the ODI lineup.
Both squads feature a mix of youth and experience, reflecting the PCB’s approach to preparing a well-rounded side for future international events.
