LAHORE; The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled an 18-member squad for the Pakistan Shaheens ahead of their England tour, which runs from July 17 to August 6. Test batter Saud Shakeel will lead the Shaheens on this tour.
Emphasizing the development of emerging talent, the squad includes 11 players under the age of 25. During their stay in England, the Pakistan Shaheens are scheduled to play two three-day matches and three One Day Internationals.
Former Test cricketer Imran Farhat has been appointed head coach of the Shaheens for this tour, tasked with guiding the young side through the series and helping prepare them for higher honors in Pakistan cricket.
