The webinar was presided over by Muhammad Atif Hanif, President of Al Baraka Bank Pakistan. The event’s chief guest was Khawaja Masood Akhtar, Chairman of the Sports Association and CEO of Forward Sports. Office bearers from the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industries, including Waseem Shehbaz Lodhi, were also in attendance.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Atif Hanif highlighted that Al Baraka Bank had previously conducted similar webinars linking Pakistani exporters with importers from South Africa, Egypt, Bahrain, and Türkiye. He also shared that the bank has developed a dedicated trade finance portal providing comprehensive information about exporters and importers from various industries.

Khawaja Masood Akhtar emphasized the importance of the initiative, noting that the webinar opened new trade routes and market access for Sialkot’s sports goods exporters. He added that products from Sialkot are already being exported to North America, Europe, and top international brands, and this event created further opportunities in new markets.

The webinar is seen as a strategic step toward strengthening global trade connectivity for Pakistan’s sports manufacturing sector.
