TEHRAN: A senior general highlighted Iran’s full military preparedness for any scenario of the enemies, warning the Israeli regime that the Islamic Republic has not still taken advantage of its naval forces or the IRGC Quds Force.
In comments on Monday, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said Iran has dealt severe blows to the Zionist regime in retaliation for the Israeli act of aggression.
He emphasized that the Iranian Armed Forces are fully prepared to counter any hostile plan.
“The Zionists are aware that part of our forces, such as the Navy and the (IRGC) Quds Force, have not still stepped in. Even the Army has not taken action with full strength,” the general, also a top military adviser to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, said.
He noted that Iran has manufactured “thousands of missiles and drones” and stored them in safe places.
The general reminded the enemies that it is impossible to destroy knowledge, which has helped Iran employ nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and produce homegrown missiles.
Branding the Israeli prime minister as a natural-born criminal who has slaughtered 60,000 Palestinians in Gaza for his political objectives, Major General Rahim Safavi said the Zionist regime achieved none of its purposes by attacking Iran that resulted in the martyrdom of 935 civilians, military commanders and nuclear scientists.
Pointing to the serious blows that Iran has dealt to the Zionist regime despite the heavy censorship of reports on damages to Israeli targets, the general said the Zionist regime had never experienced such extensive counterattacks in its entire life.
While Iran was launching hundreds of missiles at the occupied territories each day, some of those missiles had warheads that split into 80 parts and covered a target area of 40 square kilometers, he added.
The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of over 930 people, including top military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III that inflicted heavy losses on cities across the occupied territories.
A ceasefire that came into force on June 24 brought the fighting to a halt.
