Advancing judicial reforms and digitisation under the vision of the Chief Justice, the Supreme Court has introduced an e-filing system in all its registries, including Islamabad.
According to an official statement issued by the Supreme Court, under this system, a scanned copy of case-related documents will be submitted alongside the physical file, ensuring that all concerned parties have access to them.
To facilitate data availability, the apex court has requested the Supreme Court Bar Association to provide email addresses and mobile numbers of all advocates and advocates-on-record.
Additionally, the court has directed the Attorney General, the Cabinet Division Secretary, all Advocates General, Prosecutors General, and Chief Secretaries to nominate focal persons for e-filing of documents related to cases from various ministries and departments and to submit their email addresses and mobile contact details.
