The qualifying round of the tram drivers’ world championship took place in Warsaw, Poland, featuring twelve teams in the national Championship.
The competition tested drivers’ skills, precision, and teamwork through unique challenges.
These included knocking down bowling pins from moving trams, navigating close to cardboard cutouts, and assisting passengers with disabilities.
All tasks involved trams weighing 40 to 50 tons. The winner will advance to the world championship in Vienna this autumn.
