
Gaza//Ramallah: The humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories intensified this morning as Israeli attacks on Gaza claimed the lives of 14 more people, pushing the death toll in the besieged enclave to over 90 within the past 24 hours. These renewed strikes come amidst an already devastating conflict that has resulted in massive casualties.
In a separate, alarming development, at least three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in a violent assault by Israeli settlers in Kafr Malek, a village northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Reports indicate that more than 100 Israeli settlers stormed the town, setting Palestinian homes and cars ablaze. The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed that at least seven people were injured in the settler attack.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has now resulted in at least 56,156 deaths and 132,239 injuries since its commencement. The latest casualties underscore the relentless nature of the conflict and its profound impact on the civilian population.
