
RAWALPINDI: In a prestigious investiture ceremony held at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, civil awards were conferred on behalf of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to recognize the outstanding contributions of scientists and engineers working under the National Command Authority.
According to ISPR, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Deputy Chairman of the Development Control Committee and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), officiated the ceremony and presented the awards.
A total of 47 officers were honored for their exceptional service. Of these, 10 officers received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, 21 were awarded the President’s Award for Pride of Performance, and 16 were conferred the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
The awards underscore the nation’s appreciation for the dedicated efforts and achievements of its scientific and engineering community in strengthening national defense and strategic capabilities.
