ISLAMABAD (MNN); Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to enhancing cooperation with Saudi Arabia across all sectors, particularly in trade, investment, and economic development.
The assurance came during a meeting with Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah al Jadaan, who arrived in Islamabad on a one-day visit and called on the premier at the Prime Minister’s House.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Welcoming the Saudi dignitary, the prime minister conveyed his regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Mohammed bin Salman. He also recalled his recent cordial interaction with the crown prince and appreciated Saudi Arabia’s longstanding financial and economic support, which has contributed significantly to Pakistan’s economic stability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted the enduring brotherly ties between the two nations, noting that Pakistan has always stood by Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that bilateral relations have further strengthened under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Reiterating Pakistan’s commitment, the premier stressed the importance of expanding collaboration in key sectors to boost mutual economic growth.
In response, the Saudi finance minister thanked the prime minister and reaffirmed the kingdom’s resolve to deepen its historic and fraternal ties with Pakistan, in line with the vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
