Initially entered for a routine check‑up, the 89‑year‑old actor is now under close observation in the Intensive Care Unit, with his condition described as stable.
On Monday evening, superstar Salman Khan arrived at the hospital to personally check on Dharmendra’s health, demonstrating a deep bond with the veteran actor. Salman was seen entering the hospital premises quietly, with photos capturing the emotional visit.
Dharmendra’s family released a statement confirming the actor was “stable and under observation,” while requesting fans to respect their privacy and pray for his speedy recovery.
His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and his wife Hema Malini have been by his side throughout.
Despite widespread concern, insiders say that his hospitalisation is mainly precautionary. The veteran actor, whose career spans over six decades, is still slated to appear in the upcoming war‑drama film Ikkis. Fans and colleagues of the “He‑Man” of Bollywood continue to send their best wishes.
