ISLAMABAD (MNN); Ad-hoc President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Mohiuddin Wani, held a meeting with national hockey team players and team management to assess preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifying round.
During the session, Wani discussed strategies aimed at delivering stronger performances in major international tournaments ahead. He encouraged the players to concentrate entirely on their game, assuring them that the federation would manage all administrative affairs.
He vowed to make every possible effort to revive Pakistan’s former prominence in international hockey and promised that players would be given the required facilities and incentives to enhance their performance.
Wani further assured the team that they would not be subjected to unnecessary pressure. He described the national players as ambassadors of Pakistan and urged them to uphold the country’s honour through outstanding results on the field.
Accepting responsibility for administrative matters, he emphasised that strict discipline and commitment from the players would be essential to achieving success in upcoming competitions.
