ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday extended heartfelt congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping, China’s Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong, and the people of China on the arrival of the Chinese New Year.
In his message, the interior minister conveyed warm wishes to the Chinese nation, stating that the festival reflects China’s rich traditions, cultural dignity, and the renewal of national resolve.
He said that the visionary leadership of the Chinese government and the tireless efforts of its people have elevated China to a prominent position in the global economy. According to him, a strong economy, advanced technology, and industrial progress symbolize China’s sustainable development and contribution to global stability.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that relations between Pakistan and China represent a timeless partnership built on mutual trust and shared interests. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further expanding bilateral ties and taking strategic cooperation to new heights in the coming year.
He added that both countries have always supported each other during challenging times and reiterated the resolve to enhance bilateral trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
